Happy Opening to THE MUSIC MAN!

I am thrilled to be back on stage, performing as Mrs. Paroo in the iconic, classic musical THE MUSIC MAN in the beautiful Byers Theatre at City Springs Theatre Company, where I last performed as Mrs. Wilkinson in BILLY ELLIOTT. I’m so grateful to be working with this fantastic company of 36 talented actors, singers and dancers, led by Tony-award winner Shuler Hensley (director), who recently performed as Marcellus in the recent Broadway revival with Hugh Jackman, Sara Edwards (choreographer), and Miles Plant (musical director). Our designers and crew have outdone themselves with gorgeous costumes and wigs, a stunning set including a suspension bridge that flies in and out, and seamless scene transitions that flow as smoothly as the silver-tongued con-artistry of our show’s protagonist, Professor Harold Hill. We have received universally rave reviews from critics and an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from our audiences. Most special has been our Thursday morning performances for over 2000 students, who are completely invested and engaged in the story and respond to everything. I’m enjoying every minute of this limited run, now through September 22! And thanks to Marcia Jaffe at the Atlanta Jewish Times for this feature!
