I so enjoyed attending a networking event with my fellow Aligned Stars Agency actors that was hosted by Southeast casting director Clifton Guterman at his new studio, Thrive Acting Hive. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Clifton a long time, and as part of a special summer series, he invited actors from local agencies to participate in a relaxed yet robust conversation about our industry. One thing I love about the Atlanta market is the generosity of artists on both sides of the table to share their knowledge, expertise, and unique perspectives in an effort to lift up and empower us all. We covered topics from self-tape best practices to demystifying the casting process. Most of all, we enjoyed being in conversation and community together. I so appreciate Clifton’s opening up his studio and his heart to welcome us!
