I attended Atlanta’s Out On Film Festival to celebrate the world premiere of ORDER FOR BEN, an indie short film that I shot last summer and a winner of the Out At The Movies Emerging Artist Grant.

Written by Adam Plant and directed by Kristina Arjona, ORDER FOR BEN is a story of a trans man leading a full and joyful life who agrees to meet his traditional father after 7 years of estrangement. I play Ben’s mom, the family’s emotional anchor, who works to facilitate a reconciliation between father and son.

Pictured are the film’s talented crew, as well as our on-screen family: Adam, myself, and Ned Luke, who plays Ben’s father.

The film received a very positive response from our audience, and we are looking forward to screening it at more festivals in 2025!
