Girl From The North Country rehearsals

Happy New Year!

I’m so thrilled to start 2026 back on stage, making my debut at Actor’s Express, one of the southeast’s finest regional theaters, in the Atlanta premiere of the Tony-award winning musical Girl From The North Country. This moving story takes place in 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota, where a group of restless travelers find respite from the Great Depression in a modest boarding house—a place where love and loss intertwine, and where music, resilience and hope breathe life into their weary spirits. Celebrated Irish playwright Connor McPherson daringly transforms the cherished songs of Bob Dylan, weaving them into a tale as breathtaking as the tunes that underscore it.

Playing the role of Mrs. Burke is a full circle moment for me. The role was originated on Broadway by the fantastic Luba Mason, and exactly 30 years ago I was Luba’s understudy as Hedy La Rue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway. Pretty cool, right? I’m so excited to dive into this rich script and this gorgeous music!

We open January 31 and run through March 8. More information and tickets here.
