My husband and I just returned from a long-planned trip to France (our son’s college study abroad program was a handy excuse to visit)! It was our first official vacation as empty-nesters. Hubby had never been before and I hadn’t been back since college, when I was practically fluent in French (not so much the case anymore, though I conversed as much as possible and the French were pleasantly more accommodating than I expected). 

 

From Paris to Provence to the French Riviera, we enjoyed museum-hopping, taking in the beautiful scenery, and of course, consuming lots of bread, wine and cheese! So grateful for this opportunity to travel and experience the French culture, language, and cuisine again. And with all the people-watching, it 100% counts as acting research, right?
